The 10-year long service club is growing massively here at Performance in People (PiP). We’re now up to 24 members!

PiP like to show their appreciation to staff that have been here for over 10 years by giving a gift to say “thank you” for their hard work and loyalty to the company. PiP award a prestigious engraved trophy, a bottle of champagne, and a £50 voucher of their choice.

In the last few months there have been a further 4 members of staff who joined the 10-year service club! James, Stu, Becky and Sam have worked for the business and achieved great things in their 10 years.

James Appleton

James joined PiP in June 2014 as a Telephone Quality Controller on a part-time basis, listening to, scoring, and editing telephone mystery shops. James progressed to become our Head of Business Development in November 2016 which entails liaising with some of the world’s biggest brands on how PIP can help them develop their networks customer experience.

“From the first moment I entered the building I could tell PiP was a special business. I joined the team after relocating to the Isle of Wight with my wife. Since then, we have settled here and now have a young family. We are forever grateful for the foundation PiP has provided us. What the team have achieved since I have been with PIP is remarkable and I am pleased to have played a very small part in PiP’s success and growth. The colleagues I am lucky enough to work with are the best in class.”

Stuart Barlow

Stu joined PiP in May 2014 as a Telephone Quality Controller too! He started to help out the Insights department as an Assistant on a part-time basis which quickly developed into a full-time role. Now his role has progressed into one of our CX Analysts in PIPs CX Lab, producing video and audio compilations as well a wide range of reports.

“I can’t quite believe a decade has passed since I first walked through the doors at PiP! I’ve seen the business grow considerably over those years and it’s been great to be part of this journey. Each day I get to work on exciting projects for huge brands and have learnt so much about the world of mystery shopping and customer experience. PiP has been the perfect place to develop my own skills alongside such an amazing bunch of people. It’s great seeing so many of us now reaching the 10-year club, which I think is down to such a positive working environment and a very strong culture, which really makes the company stand out from the crowd.”

Becky Koscinski

Becky also joined the Telephone department as a Quality Controller in June 2014, listening to, and scoring telephone mystery shops. She has also worked as a Video Quality Controller and has spent some time in our Allocation team. She is now a member of our Specialist Programme Team who cover a wide range of programmes including Report-Based mystery shopping and Audits as well as many Online mystery shopping programmes such as Email, Live Chat and Social Media mystery shopping.

“I’m so grateful to PiP for making the last 10 years so enjoyable to work for; I’ve grown so much as a person having worked in a handful of departments and roles over the years. I’ve made so many wonderful friends and memories here, you really do feel like part of a big family! Here’s to the next 10 years!

Sam Stopher

Sam joined PiP in July 2014 as a Video Quality Controller watching, scoring and editing video mystery shops. Over his 10 years Sam has worked in a number of departments at PIP ranging from Quality Controlling in our Video, Telephone and Customer Mystery Shopping teams to assisting in our Allocations Team. His knowledge of PIP is huge!
