Last Friday 15th September, Performance in People (PiP) hosted their bi-annual State of the Union at the beautiful Landguard Manor in Shanklin, Isle of Wight. All staff were treated to a Friday morning lay-in and arrived at Landguard Manor at midday for a BBQ, drinks, live entertainment and games in the glorious sunshine.
Our State of the Union events are a great opportunity to put ‘work’ aside for the day and focus on having some fun together and getting to know our colleagues – new and old. There is always a ‘buzz’ around the office before and after our State of the Union events and we’re grateful to everyone at PiP for getting involved and for organising such a great day.
Emellia and Jack & Gold provided their beautiful live music to set the scene for our garden party, and Huxley Magic and some fun super-sized inflatable games provided by JJ’s Party Hire provided the entertainment. We were also treated to a BBQ lunch and a host of sweet afternoon treats including a chocolate fountain, popcorn and candy floss by Island Sweet Dreams. There was also a very competitive team tug-of-war battle!
To round off a great day in the sunshine, we held a random raffle where staff had the opportunity to win some great prizes! Congratulations to our raffle prize winners:
