This week we are celebrating with Emma Porter who has completed an amazing 10 years’ service at Performance in People (PiP)!
For all long-serving members of staff, PiP like to show their appreciation and give a gift to say ‘thank you’ for their hard work and loyalty to the company. PiP presented Emma with a prestigious engraved trophy, a bottle of champagne, a bunch of flowers and a £50 voucher of her choice.
Emma's history at PiP
Emma started at PiP on 3rd September 2012 as Production Manager, responsible for timely and quality delivery of mystery shopping videos for all clients. The processes of which have come a long way in the last ten years! As PiP adopted its cellular approach, Emma became Quality Control Supervisor but took real interest in quantifying and improving our Visual Programmes Behavioural Measurement Score® (bms®) scoring; creating and taking on the role of bms® Manager in 2016. In this role, Emma manages the bms® scoring of our Video Mystery Shopping and Telephone Mystery Shopping teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across all sectors and clients, through regular group audits and individual reviews with up to 70 bms® scoring staff across the business. During our quieter lockdown period, Emma took advantage of some downtime to complete a Consumer Behavioural Psychology course, which has helped further her knowledge, skill and understanding of bms® in the field.
“The time has gone so fast! I’ve learned so much in my time at PiP, both personally and professionally, supported by my managers and colleagues. This award to me is a celebration of a role that is constantly varied; challenging and rewarding; working alongside some incredible people for an innovative company”
Emma Porter, bms® Manager
What we do for our people
PiP now has 13 members of staff who have served 10 years or more – how impressive is that?! The question is, how do PiP manage to retain staff? PiP recognises that happy people means a happy workplace and is continually investing in new ways to make it an enjoyable place to work. Over recent years PiP has been awarded ‘Best Companies’ and appeared in the ‘Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For’. A few of the benefits available to staff include: complimentary fresh fruit, subsidised gym membership, flexible working, recommend a friend schemes, attendance rewards, regular bonuses, company-wide social events, yoga, relaxation classes and so much more!
