The MIAs for 2022, were back to their brilliant best with the highest number of award entries and participants! The glittering awards evening, held at the stunning Royal Lancaster London on 22nd September 2022, was attended by anyone who is anyone in the mobile industry with the networks and handset manufacturers all fighting it out to be recognised as the best.
Hosted by England Rugby Legend, Matt Dawson
The award’s mission is to celebrate the nation’s top mobile phone salespeople across both retail and contact centre environments. This year the ceremony was hosted by England Rugby International legend and 2003 World Cup winner, Matt Dawson.

Once again Shop Idol ‘the hunt for the best sales person in the industry’ was the most coveted award with Nad Akram from EE collecting the retail winning honours. Nad beat hundreds of entrants from all major UK mobile retailers. Our CEO Mike Dalloz can vouch as a judge for the award, that the competition was particularly fierce this year, but Nad was a worthy winner!
