Last Friday 27th January marked a big day in the PiP history books – it was our very own legendary Richard Shannon, Account Director, who worked his last day at PiP HQ.
Rich is now living his best adventurous life as a retired man! He’s going to be greatly missed around the office – he’s known as everyone’s ‘work dad’, gives the best hugs, and words of advice and is a fountain of knowledge for us all. Rich has also helped us grow our green fingers at PiP, and to be honest, we’re all a bit worried about the state of our office plants now he’s not around… we’ll have to make sure he pops in every now and again!
As well as being a great friend and member of the PiP family, Rich has helped build a very successful foundation at PiP – we wouldn’t be where we are today without him. He’s been with the company since its infancy in 2001.
From just a handful of office people and 1 mystery shopper (yes… one!!)
22 years later we now have 90+ employees and 35,000+ assessors across the UK. During his 22 years, Rich has worked with over 60 world-class brands across the automotive, financial, hospitality and retail industries – working closely with head office industry professionals to help build a successful customer experience improvement programme through our range of tools and services.
So… it was only right we celebrated this huge life event with Rich! Also known for his flamboyant attire – we all surprised him by wearing a wacky shirt (some of which were his own… much to his surprise and confusion!) It was a very colourful day… We also enjoyed a team Fish n Chips lunch (his favourite) and closed the business early to have a celebratory drink with Rich in our atrium, which continued at our local Wetherspoons at the end of the day.
