Performance In People (PiP) are pleased to report on our continued collaboration with the Mobile Industries Awards ‘Shop Idol 2022’. The awards mission is to celebrate the nation’s top mobile phone sales people across both retail stores and contact centres. There can only be one winner from each of the categories, they will be selected from over 24,000 mobile sales people currently working in the UK.
PiP were originally appointed as the awards research partner in 2005, with PiP Founder & CEO Mike Dalloz supporting as one of the competition judges. The awards utilise PiP’s Video Mystery Shopping technology to provide verifiable insights around candidate’s technical knowledge, customer service and sales skills. In 2016 both PiP and Mike appeared on the BBC Two, 6-part TV series ‘Phone Shop Idol’, that followed the awards process
The second round of judging is due to take place on the 30th June & 1st July, which will determine the finalists who will be announced early August. The overall winners will be announced on stage, in-front of the industries leaders at the Mobile Industry Awards on 22nd September. Best of luck to those involved!
