Performance in People (PiP) hosted our very first (post-pandemic!) State of the Union on Friday 7th October. PiP wanted to celebrate the return of our State of the Union events so we made it extra big and extra special by taking the whole team up to London for the day! A private bus picked us up bright and early Friday morning from our HQ on the Isle of Wight, and we were dropped off at the London Eye where everyone had a couple of hours to explore the sights of London city, before we all headed to Madame Tussauds.

During the free time, employees did a mixture of activities and exploring including a Cruise of the River Thames, a visit to the Tate Modern, exploring the food and drink at Borough Market, a cat café and much more…!
PHOTO CHALLENGE!
To make things even more exciting all staff were given a tour guide as they boarded the bus. On each guide was a challenge to see who could get the best photos which gave people the chance of winning a prize! A selection of the photo challenges is listed below along with the winning photos:
- Whole group jumping in the air (bonus points for the group with the most ‘air’)
- Group photo in a phone box
- Best photo with a celebrity – obviously the celeb is in fact the one and only Mike Dalloz 😜
- In addition, two extra photos just because we love them 😍!
