This policy applies to users of any services accessible through one of our sites, applicants for mystery shopping and visitors requesting information by e-mail or telephone.

The type of personal information we collect

The personal data we collect might upon registering to become a mystery shopper includes your name, title, date of birth, gender, email address, home address, post code, phone numbers and accent. We may also receive personal data via the ‘Contact Us’ and ‘Careers’ pages which could include your name, email address and phone number.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you when you register to become a mystery shopper, update your profile on our website, submit a CV or request something via our ‘Contact Us’ page. We may also receive limited personal information indirectly, such as your IP address.

For mystery shopping applicants, we use the information that you have given us in order to onboard you as a mystery shopper, manage your account, verify your identity, understand your suitability for certain assignments and to share available assignments with you. We may share some of this information with our other sub-contractors, our clients and third parties, such as our hosting provider based in the UK.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are we have a legitimate interest, we need to do so in order to carry out our contractual obligations with clients or we need to comply with a legal obligation.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored. We have appropriate physical security at our office and our computer systems have secure access controls. We undergo regular business continuity planning and penetration testing. We use security software to help minimise the loss, theft or misuse of date, including Google reCAPTCHA. We do not store any data from reCAPTCHA, this is stored by Google in USA.

We will keep your personal data for as long as you remain a registered mystery shopper or you request to be removed from our database. We will then dispose your information by removing all of your data from our database within 30 days. There may be some specific data, such as tax, legal or accounting information, we are required by law to keep for longer periods.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
