We’re celebrating Abi McIntyre, Head of Creative, at Performance in People (PiP) who has reached 10 years of service at the company!

Abi’s career history at PiP

Abi joined PiP in 2010, straight from High School after completing her A-levels! She joined PiP under an apprenticeship programme as a Sales & Marketing Administrator. After successfully completing her apprenticeship, she gained a permanent position at the company. Since then, Abi has progressed rapidly through the company, with a range of roles and experience including HR, Sales & Account Management, and Continuous Improvements.

Abi is now Head of Creative, a perfectly fit role for her organisational, design and creative skills. Her role covers a range of responsibilities including leading marketing initiatives, assessor recruitment strategies, events organisation, training support, and project management.

“Even though it feels like that time has flown by, when I think about the person I was and what the company was like back in 2010 – things couldn’t be more different! I was fresh out of high school, ready to take on adult life in the ‘real world’. Back then, PiP was sending out mystery shops to clients in the post via a DVD! And our workforce was made up of around 40-50 people. Now we’re pushing 100 employees at PiP – and the technology and innovation have come leaps and bounds too – we work with some incredibly impressive brands! I’m also fully ‘adulting’ with a house, husband and kids! It’s been a privilege to have been on this journey with PiP – everyone has always been so supportive and most importantly, fun to work with! I’ve made friends for life here.”

Abi is the 20th member of staff to join the 10-year long-service club!
